Thomas Papathomas just let me know of this new optical illusion he made. Wasn’t initially going to put it up because of its politcal nature, but it’s too neat to pass over:
Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Rutgers University Thomas Papathomas let me know of his really cool mask/face illusion.
Notice the moving nose ring as well as the rolling eyes. The effect gets even crazier when the mask is turned on its side 1 minute 30 seconds into the video.

In this optical illusion by Roger Shepard (”Turning the Tables”), the dimensions of the tabletops are amazingly the same!

Dr. Richard Gregory first observed this illusion’s effects at a cafe wall in Bristol, where the tiles were arranged in a chessboard-like pattern.
