2?
6 completes the sequence in the yellow ovals (4..5..6) as well as the red ovals (72/18 = 4 95/19 = 5 84/14 = ?)
i think one answer is 6. Explanation:
1) In the first ellipse 72/18= 4
2)In the second 95/19= 5
3) So in the third 84/14= 6
the top two numbers divided by the bottom two numbes, is the overall top number, so 6 would be the answer.
A B
C D
# = (D - A +C) * B
1. (8 - 7 + 1) * 2 = 4
2. (9 - 9 + 1) * 5 = 5
3. (4 - 8 + 1) * 4 = -12
-12
How about -12?
(((8-7)+1)*2) = 4
(((9-9)+1)*5) = 5
(((4-8)+1)*4) = -12
..X..
A…B
C…D
X = ((D-A)+C)*B
4 = ((8-7)+1)*2
5 = ((9-9)+1)*5
-12 = ((4-8)+1)*4
The answer could be -12.
Formula is:
(Lower Right - Upper Left + Lower Left) * Upper Right
First ovoid = (8 - 7 + 1) * 2 = 2 * 2 = 4
Second ovoid = (9 - 9 + 1) * 5 = 1 * 5 = 5
Third ovoid = (4 - 8 + 1) * 4 = -3 * 4 = -12
6
The missing number is 6. These are division problems, 72/18 = 4, 95/19 = 5, and 84/14 = 6.

Take each of the top and bottom two red numbers as two digits and divide the bottom number by the top, so:
72 / 18 = 4
95 / 19 = 5
84 / 14 = 6
The top two numbers divide by two bottom 72/18=4, 95/19=5, 84/14=6.
So the answer is 6.
6 is the answer we originally had in mind, but as Joe, Rupert, Shawn & Ray point out, -12 works too!
Take the ones digit of the product of the top left and right red numbers as the yellow number and then the answer is w
7*2 = 14 —— 4
9*5 = 45 —— 5
8*4 = 32 —— 2
Its 7
EX:
(7-1+8) = 2 *2 = 4
(9-1+9) = 1 *5 = 5
(8-1-4) = 3 *4 = 12
