    ECFBAD
E: He is thinking how to fix the messed up garden.
C: Starts to trim the brush to the right.
F: Moves to trim the brush to the left
B: Places the rock in place
A: Cleans up the trimmed leaves on the ground and mov es the 2 pots in place.
D: Finishes off watering the plants.

    Easy

    E-Needs to do some work.
    C-Trims first tree.
    F-Trims second tree.
    B-Moves rock.
    A-Moves potted plants, sweeps.
    D-Finishes.

    CFEBAD

E C F B A D On the basis of the trees and the rock.

But there is an inconsistency in the trimmings. In panel C the worker is trimming the tree on the right, and apparently finishing trimming the trees in panel F. But in panel B the leaves encroach on the position the rock held in the first 3 panels.

ECFBDA, i believe it helps a lot if you look at where the teo pots of plants are

F.then he goes up so that he cut the rest.
    B.he moved the stone .

    the order is ECFBAD

  21. Andi | Guest

    I believe the correct order is E C F B A D.

    Andi

  22. Paul | Guest

    CEFBAD

  23. Keith | Guest

E, C, F, B, A, D Because he walks up and decides his yard is a mess, so he trims the hedges, based on the leaves on the ground, he trims C before F, then he moves the rock, and then sweeps up the trimmings, and waters his plants before he leaves

  24. Keith | Guest

additionally A and D happen one before the other because of the location of the plant pots and also happen last because the rock is already in the proper location.

    Egads, this place looks terrible!
Cut the bushes on the right
Freshen up the bushes on the left
Boulder needs to be off the sidewalk
All that’s left to do is sweep up
Drink of water for the plants, and I’m done

  27. RK | Profile (beta)

I thought this one was kind of tricky. The best answer, I believe, is ECFBAD.

  28. Paul | Guest

I think that the order is CEFBAD because the leaves on the ground in E are more than in C, so definitely it has to be a moment between C and F

  29. Leah | Guest

    E, C, F, B, A, D

  30. Luijo | Guest

    Hmm.. that’s right, it’s E-C-F-B-A-D.. and not C-F-E-B-A-D as i first noted..

However, there’s a mistake on E, because there are leafs behind the guy, and if you look at C they are not there.. but they are there again on F..

But on E, neither of the trees are trimmed, so it has to be the first as RK noted. I’m guessing we can blame the dissapearing leafs of C on the wind or something?

    Oh well.. :P

Luijo & John Lewis Highsmith- thanks for pointing out. If we ever wind up putting this in book form, will tidy it up a bit to remove the wind factor : )

C F E B A D …… HE trims the right side, then the left side(extra leaves appear). he thinks about the rock and then moves it…Clears the leaves and then waters the pots…..
