Casual GamePlay Competition #6

jayisgames-casual-gameplay

The good folks over at Casual Gameplay @ Jayisgames.com are hosting their 6th game design competition. While there are lots of neat entries, I think many of you will enjoy Full Moon created by Bart Bonte (Factory Balls).  If you want to try a very hard puzzler, check out Imagination Escape .  For the later, better to  get out some pen and paper, and put your ciphering hat on!

Great gameplay concept. I really enjoyed it. Some levels were slightly tricky to figure out, but eventually, by some guesswork, thought and accidental discoveries, finished the game.

Which one did you play Migrated-Full Moon or Imagination Escape?

full moon was a cool game, somehow easy, but really cool, I havent tried the other one, I think I should because to encode nd decode are not in my strongest areas jajaja, cool.

Full Moon. Haven’t tried Imagination Escape yet. Will try it when I have more time.

Imagination escape is not at all fun. I think the author is saying, “Locked room games usually only make a little bit of sense. Mine will be the best because it makes no sense.” You can actually get out without finishing. I had only opened 2 boxes (with help from the forum) and all of a sudden the door was open.

I tried the 1st box, but had to check the forum also for the answer. Not sure what the other boxes were like, but the 1st seemed very hard…
