UPDATE: bug is fixed; tested it a few times and appears to be working fine now. . A new word search game engine! Once every week or two will feature a new word search puzzle. While there are many ways to present these, our first challenge has no word list! Instead, try to find all the fruits. Many of you will have an easy time coming up with 9-10; however, the last few might be tough! It wasn’t too...
The word grid seems to display 9 to 10 fruit names only, especially that each time you refresh, the word grid changes.
I found in my 1st grid (in straight lines):
apple
mango
papaya
lychee
durian
guava
rambutan
pear
grape
kiwi
but still missed:
orange
cherry
banana
persimmon
Orange and persimmon could be found even with non straight lines!
1. Apple
2. Pear
3. Banana
4. Orange
5. Cherry
6. Grape
7. Mango
8. Kiwi
9. Papaya
10. Lychee
11. Guava
12. Persimmon
13. Durian
14. Rambutan
Is it correct that the game only shows a 9×9 letter grid at a time? (Windows Vista Ultimate, Internet Explorer 8.0)
Okay, now I can see the whole 12×12 letter grid at once. But with always the same fruits, this is way to easy. And why was the Diospyros Virginiana left out. Also when I just played it, there was a plum in it, unmarkable but still there, so there were 14 fruits again.
And a fig! That makes 15! But there might be more…

Can definitely make these harder, but I was afraid this 1st puzzle would be too challenging and long! Hopefully, people will leave some feedback so I can better judge what everyone wants, thanks
oh yeah, took the whole ‘plum’ out, but you still may be able to find some mashed left over
Works fine now, but the webpage we get redirected to once we finish (http://www.smart-kit.com/games.....fruits/asd) gives an error 404 (not found)
Do you program these flash games ..cough.. your ..cough.. self?
instead of ‘word seaching’ maybe ‘bug spotting’ is more on target

ahh, you found the plum mashed! put this in after kasabubu’s comment above
The huila was just another ‘false word’ that came with the game. You can put as many of these in as you want to make things more interesting…
But after loading the word search several times, have always been able to see orange. Are you sure it was missing? Took the persimmon out to make sure the grid wouldn’t be too large (and thus the puzzle too hard) this 1st time
My comment regarding orange and persimmon was for when the grid displayed only partially, not 12×12. After the bug fix, i can find the 13 fruits.
What are the alternative words (color, animal, thing, country, planet) for?
Hey now! You’re not supposed to be looking at my private parts
in future versions of the puzzle, instead of putting the actual word down to find, you may see a clue instead, e.g., ‘blue’ hidden in grid for ‘color’
I was just checking if the bug was within your private parts
The word puzzle would become more challenging indeed with the alternative words.

I am not very sure of the exact details, but:
The game ends sometimes with “13 Fruits” and other times “14 Fruits”, even though persimmon was found in both cases.
It once even ended before having found persimmon.
Hey there Hex- The current version still can’t always fit in all the words, but it supposedly does a check to see how many words it was able to accomodate. Therefore, sometimes it will say ‘13 fruits’ or ‘14 fruits’.
