What’s special about the bands in the picture below?

    I don’t know the name for them exactly, but they’re those ‘inifinte loops’ or whatever. There’s not really 2 separate surfaces as in a normal band, instead it is one surface that is continual. I don’t know quite how else to explain it!

    they’re moebius bands. you twist one end and join the two ends together.

    Yeah, the only way I can explain it is that each band has half a twist.
