This is the 2nd painting in our ‘Course of Empire’ series. In the 1st picture, you can see sunlight breaking through the darkness of very early morning.  A hunter is in survival mode chasing a deer.  In this 2nd picture, however,

we have a bright spring morning, and the raw wilderness is transformed into developing land. The perspective has also shifted.  Advanced buildings appear. There’s even older man test driving a new puzzle to show his friends
