On every high tree I may always be found
Likewise on the towering hill;
I’m the sport of the boys, and when moving around
Sometimes do appear to stand still;
Reversed, in the mansion and cottage I’m seen;
I’m used by all people and easily made clean.

I’m guessing Top and Pot
It’s a top — treetop, hilltop, a spinning top — and spelled backwards it’s a pot, which you’ll find in any kitchen.
Not usually good at these, but I got this one…a top

What am I: water….rain water on trees and hills,boys water polo,under water currents,reverse osmosis for cleaning water to drink.
