Here’s a neat logic-type puzzle that we haven’t put up before; it’s known as an ‘ABC Puzzle’:
Place the letters A,B,C and 2 spaces in each row and column. Each row and column must contain that exact combination-kind of like sudoku.
The letters around the square indicate what must be the 1st letter to appear in that row or column. So the ‘C’ above the last column means that ‘C’ appears 1st in that column, so you know the 1st cell in that column must be a ‘C’ or a space.

Hi Tad- let’s take row 4. There is an ‘A’ next to it. This means that in row 4, ‘A’ has to be the 1st letter you come across. Now, you might think the ‘A’ has to appear in the the very 1st box-but it doesn’t, because you can have an empty space there. Actually, the 1st 2 boxes could be empty spaces, and the ‘A’ would have to then appear in the 3rd box.
So you know that in the 4th row, the ‘A’ has to appear in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd box (depending where the spaces reside). Hope that helps some

Suineg- the carbon clue in the Mannekin puzzle was because Porsche is actually spelled with a ‘c’ ; most people forget and omit it
Can someone explain why the hand symbol means “or”?
Is it because of the mathematical symbol ‘V’ for ‘or’ as a logical disjunction?
