A federally funded study out of UC Berkeley just recently showed that infants born to mothers exposed to DDT (a pesticide) had significantly lower scores on tests of memory and problem-solving skills.

While DDT is banned in the US, it is still widely used elsewhere. This may be important, because I’m noticing that more and more produce sold in the US is grown outside the country.Related Posts:
